So can the scouting network not include former players? It only appears to be former players. That's the problem.

So can the scouting network not include former players? It only appears to be former players. That's the problem. Well....ONE former player ! And these aren't exactly top class guys we are getting, they are just decent/average ECHL guys.

But it's well known that ECHL players, particularly younger ones, that perform better in our league. I'd rather a team of decent ECHL than a team of washed up old NHL ringers

But it's well known that ECHL players, particularly younger ones, that perform better in our league. I'd rather a team of decent ECHL than a team of washed up old NHL ringers See how we go. But at the minute we still need two or three top end guys if we are going to challenge for the title. Nobody ever won the league without quality and whilst we have some solid looking guys,the goalie apart,we've currently got the sort of roster you would expect in either Coventry or Braehead.
