It really should be £11 or £10 for Kreinfeld and £5 or £4 for Cardiff and Braehead.
At least with these friendlies, there should be just enough people to be able to work out any issues the new security procedures will cause ready for the start of the new season.

Pricing: • Gold: £15 • Silver: Adult/Senior/Conc £13 • Silver: Teen/Junior £9 • Bronze: Adult/senior/Conc £10 • Bronze: Teen/Junior £7
Presumably knock a quid off if you have a ST.
Krefeld yes, Aladdin Cup no.

That's good, I sit in block 10/11 these days so a tenner does me just find.
Lot better pricing than last year

I think it's absolutely wonderful that they're charging you that much. Means we will have lots more £s to spend on better players. It's far too high though for three quarters of a roster in exhibition games,it should have been about £10 in gold and £8 in any other block. 3000 plus there and a nice fat profit for Panthers ! 😀

What's the break even cost for a game? Basically how much does it cost per game for the arena/staff?

£15,000 sounds a understandable number. 5 years ago it wouldn't have been as costly as it is now due to the strength of the pound deteriorating.
At an average price of £12.60 then they will only need around 1200 adult tickets sold to pay off the rent fee. If they sold 3500 adult tickets at the same average price, they'd make £29,100 in profit (£23,000 after tax).
Probably paying out a minimum of £10,000 per week on player and staff wages, equipment costs etc.. so take that from the final profit and that leaves £13,000 overall.
Just a few quick sums for fun based on guesstimates so don't read any of the above to be completely accurate.

Why would a weak pound mean the arena cost goes up? Its a fixed asset in the UK. Unless it is owned abroad, it should not make any difference.

Let me know if you need help finding the phone number....... There are so many figures bandied around here as fact, a lot of which I don't particularly believe, so I don't think it's an unfair question to ask. Four people have come back with a form of answer, and in my opinion (and two others) think the only actual figure quoted is on the low side. From someone who clearly has an issue with the club. I highly doubt Panthers would give me the details, as you well know - isn't one of the the Supporters Trusts aims to improve communication between Panthers and the fans? From what accounts you can find in the public domain (and I know that a good firm of accountants can work wonders for you), the profits being generated by Panthers are nowhere near the amounts that some suggest on here.

It's definitely a fair question to ask. I meant call the arena rather than the panthers. They will hire it to pretty much anyone who has the readies and the relevant insurance etc. I'd say from personal experience that £15k is accurate. Even if that doesn't sit well with some because it's what Iginla said. I would actually think that it will be costing them a bit less than £15k. I've messaged you about the last point.

When Uni of Nottingham looked at hiring the Arena for Freshers Ball around 2004, they were quoted £22k. Obviously a different layout to Hockey, but gives you an idea of the costs of hire.

If you don't believe me,then there is not a lot I can do about that. But I don't make things up.
Just think Steelers and £5 per ticket and how many tickets they will sell. If it was costing them silly money,do you really think they would set a ticket price that low to make a loss.
Simmsey has mentioned arena costs before and theirs are similar to ours. Ask him, tweet him, or he's doing a periscope tonight I think.
