Coke? Interesting choice of 'soft drink' Im not saying things like this don't happen but its getting tiresome all these accusations without any proof and I don't just mean the instagram photos lets see some photographic evidence of these so called 'coke' drinks, after hours drinking etc as your obviously there taking notes. Me? I'm nowhere near taking notes. Not accusing the players of anything either. Just seemed like sevcik was maybe suggesting something?

With each season that passes, the chances grow of Lepine returning.
Oldest on the team in Binghamton. Last season was his best season in his professional career, this season has been his worst statistically. Binghamton have had a poor year and will be relocating after this season. Only one non-loanee has a + in the +/- column and that's a +1. Lepine has a -21.
Sure, he's one of the fans favourites with his hitting and toughness but we've heard from McGrattan how life in the American league is a rocky road, lengthy travel, poor facilities in some places, constant uncertainty of what the next day will bring etc.. Binghamton will want a big turn around on this season and Lepine has quickly become an expendable piece in that game.
He's still keen on following the progress of Panthers, the only silverware he has to his name is with Panthers. Fingers crossed!

Jeff Dimmen to leave
Geoff Waugh to retire
Andy Sertich offered a new contract but undecided
Matt Carter was on a two year but considering going back to France instead of returning.
Schultz not being offered a new contract
Nikiforuk offered a new deal
Lindhagen offered a new deal
McMillan under consideration
Reduction in overall import numbers by one and maximum players on the bench capped at 19, moving back to three line hockey with two players who can rotate and cover injuries.
All Brits back

I'm not having a dig, purely curious.

If they reduce roster numbers by 1 then I hope someone throws a chair at the Fans Forum.
Carter wants out badly, so I can't see him coming back. The only thing I'd be unhappy about on that list would be Sertich.

I think before we sign anymore players the league needs to announce what they plan to do next season with Import numbers etc. Because I wouldn't be happy with MacMillan being resigned, in either position

Despite all of Nikiforuks endeavours I wouldn't want him back, when in the past we've had Francis and Benedict in the same sort of role, Nikiforuk does not compare in quality, I would like to think we could do better.

Yes NIkiforuk is a funny one, nice guy,but I would let him go,there is better out there. Maybe it's harsh, because can't fault his work ethic and a fair bit of his play, but he was brought in to score goals and he hasn't done it enough. Trouble is,the fans like him,he gets a big cheer,Panthers will know that and possibly end up re signing him, because that's what they do. Look at Larry for instance, far far too many flaws in his play and his attitude, but a lot of fans liked him, thought he was wonderful,he even had his own little song. Panthers knew that too.....And look where that took us ! 😩

I'm not having a dig, purely curious. A friend was chatting to a couple of the players in the last week, before and after the weekend, also had had texts from a few and shared this information with me. The Player number part was alluded to on the Cardiff Inferno forum by Steve King who owns the Devils. EIHL very tight lipped about it though and not responding to questions on Twitter. Moving to three lines ensures better coverage of Brits between 12 clubs as if more teams move to 4 lines there will be no decent Brits for the smaller clubs. Finally I don't think there will be a fan forum. Seen a number of fans tweet the league but have been ignored.

Why not keep the roster limit but reduce the import limit? Makes more sense than cutting an entire space, especially if it's too ensure the Brits don't die off.

surely by keeping squad levels as they are now will be better for Brits. rather than just spread the decent quality Brits over 12 teams, why not give more Brits the opportunity to get into the league?

After that kind of season in the EBEL, very unlikely.

I've been having a look around to see what Brits are playing overseas and if they could fill any roles over here. We need a new Backup Goalie, that's a given. Bradley Stone. 20 years old. 6'2". Spent last 5 years in the USA, most recently the USPHL Premier with the Boston Jr. Bruins. Junior Eligibility is almost up, could fill a spot. www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=172011Although it's an absolute no chance, worth giving Danny Taylor a shoutout. Born in Plymouth, Drafted by LA, made 2 NHL appearances and is now a top goalie in the KHL. London KHL perhaps, if that happens. www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=14833Potential Forwards we could bring in.. Jack Musil. 23 years old. 6'1". Spent last 7 years in North America. Highest league played is the NCAA. Now plays in the NCAA3. In his 3rd Year of College, possibly Graduating soon. www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=93332Sam Duggan. Not much needs to be said about him. Very good player for his age (18). Coming through the Swedish Jnr system so he's got great skating ability and rarely stops moving. www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=212580Jack Prince. I'd love for us to poach him from Storm. Leicester born, Nottingham product. Done well in his first professional season, despite being very late to the party at a tender age of 26. www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=44382Joey Lewis. Welsh, with German Citizenship. Doing well in the DEL2 after coming through the German System in the latter parts of his Junior Career. www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=43479__________ In addition to those, could we see these guys head to the league? Liam Reddox.. Clan perhaps? Deteriorating at SHL level, Scottish Heritage.. Who knows www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=9496Ryan McKeirnan. Irish Heritage, like most Americans seem to have these days. Solid defenceman playing in the EBEL at the moment. Played against Jeff Brown for a few years in the CIS. www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=31514

So it looks like we're keeping Lacho, Farmer, Lee, Clarke, Betteridge, Spang, Brown, McGrattan, Nikiforuk, Sertich, Lindhagen and potentially McMillan.
We'll have 2 netminders, presumably one of which will be a Brit.
That only leaves us space for 5 new skaters. Not exactly the complete overhaul most were hoping for!
