Disgusting refereeing performance has cost us a regulation win IMO. Can't even say "the players should know better" because they were getting called for breathing on players.
At the end of that, we deserved that win. I pray to god we just get a fair crack of it tomorrow. Because on performance so far, we can win this.

Im half glad im at work tomorrow. Beacuse that way i cant pull all my hair out, watching what i already know will be a blantantly bias refereeing display.
Someone give Paul Thompson a heads up. Now he can see what having unfair calls go against you really looks like.
Well done tonight though Panthers whatever happens now you can hold your heads high great tournement so far.

To be fair, Corey should emulate Paul Thompson and comment about the refereeing before tomorrows game and put some pressure that way. I may not like it but I think it has to be done. Amazing performance, well done guys. Come on Odense

Great win that. 😀 But most of those calls by the ref were shocking. They were even worse than the refs in Asiago last time !
We want an Odense reg win tonight, then I think a point would do us tomorrow, any other result tonight and we will need to beat Ritten.

I think as long as Ritten do not win in regulation tonight then us taking them to overtime tomorrow will be good enough (as we will both have 6 points if we lose in OT but we will have the only regulation win)

Does that trump our win over Odense if we were both on 6 points ?

ah - I did look for the tie breaker rule but couldn't find it, that lost point tonight could be critical then.

i missed all 4 goals and Carters ps cos the picture had frozen. Most of the rest of the time it was ok. Blame GM for the equaliser, when Big Ern scored he started talking about covering tonights game and showing it for free to any-one who paid for the afternoon game, as it could have decided the first place. As soon as the game went to OT he cancelled the freebie ! Still, it's 2pts and unless Odense turn over Ritten tonight, which I can't see, it looks like coming down to tomorrow night. Hopefully, we won't lose any-one else after today. Any chance Nikiforuk could fly over ??

The officiating tomorrow will be unbearable. There's not much panthers can do about it either.
Be good news if Niki flies in as another Schultz injury has ultimately made this very tough
Tbh as good as he is. He's got to go we need players who will play through the pain barrier

So an Odense regulation win tonight and we only need a point tomorrow. But any other result tonight and we need to beat Ritten in either regulation or overtime ?

if Odense win in OT - then if we lost in OT Tomorrow that would be 6 points for us and 5 for Ritten?

So if Ritten win tonight - we need to beat them tomorrow, but if they lose, in either regulation or OT then we just need to take them to OT tomorrow. I *think* that's right

Good result, I didn't see it so can't comment on the refereeing, but I'll take everyone's word for it. Hopefully, if it was anything dodgy rather than ineptitude, they were just making sure the tournament would be kept alive for all 3 days, but we'll find out tomorrow. Memories of that Asiago game leap to mind though. Gonna have to give Gary a tenner now.

Stuck at work...,what was the score? Won on penalties 3-2, reffing was abysmal.

Highlights
I can see why that Farmer effort was disallowed. Dimmen (I think) looks to go through the crease and takes the netminders sight away, seems fair enough to me.

I struggle to see how it was disallowed for man in crease, he wasn't in the crease he just skated across the front of their goal and doesn't obstruct the goalies movement!? Plenty of goals are allowed in the same situation so find it hard to see why it was disallowed.

His right leg is clearly inside the crease and he's right in front of the guy when Farmer shoots.
