What time GMT does Sunday's game against Ritten face off ? This thread game header says 6pm but Panthers webcast says 7pm. I'm pretty sure it's 6, 7 Italy time.

An excellent result, a massive well done to all involved. Both N/M were in excellent form.
The Webcast was better than I imagined, to be fair I thought that GM was rather good, he explained the structure and procedures of how the competition was going to be rather well, if we win the competition, he can be as OTT as he likes. However I felt that somebody else should have done the interviews seeing how he was commemtating.
I know that I'm biased and come across rather snobbish however I feel that they should have waited for next week to hold this stage and have it in Nottingham. Ritten's rink is no way suitable to be holding a prestigious final, the ice was terrible, the seats were non existant and there would have been more fans in for the game (I know it was snowing)
Maybe there should be a 2 weekend window for when the stage can be held so that the best Arena can be used, not a substandard building that was free for this weekend.

So a win over Beibarys Atyrau and Nottingham win the Continental Cup and with it a return to the CHL.

Plus if we win in Regulation.. Panthers - 6pts Odense - 3pts Ritten - 2pts Atyrau - 1pt Round Robin rules would declare us as victors?

Yeah if that happens we've won I think. First decider is head to head.

Much easier to see the puck on those highlights as the camera is panned in closer.
Can't we have that view on future webcasts ?

Really strange watching highlights without commentary.
Anybody else find it weird that there was no TV coverage for this stage and that the Panthers were allowed to do their own Webcasts. Is this the same for the other 3 teams.
Surely the organizers could have sold the TV rights to the 4 represented countries?

I notice they've only told us afterwards that without buying the webcast you can download later for only £4.00 per game. Rather sneaky that ! 😐

Greetings from Ritten! Eventually. What a day, we were the unlucky ones who missed the majority of the game. Coming in to land at Verona we had to abort the landing as the tail wind was too strong, so we were diverted to Venice 15 minutes away. The idea was to refuel and try again as the pilot was told the wind was subsiding. It wasn't.Then, instead of going back to Venice, which would have been ok for us travel wise,EasyJet head office told the pilot to land in Milan. Not even Bergamo, but Malpensa which is even further away from Ritten. We had two choices, hop on the bus that they would provide back to Verona or try and swap the car hire. We chose the latter and for €50 ( between 5 of us) off we tootled. Managed to shave 50 minutes off the ETA on the sat nav and arrived in the arena with just under 2 minutes on the clock. With regard to the segregation, it looks so lot worse than it is. Ended up chatting to some security staff and a policeman, basically it's a rule that the fans of the two competing teams must be segregated. It was a bit basic but they rigged up some temporary Harris fencing. We stood with the Odense fans during the second game. It's not something we're used to seeing so it's just different. The situation in Jaca was far worse when they told us there was no alcohol allowed to be sold at the game!!

I found that mucking around with brightness setting on my TV made the ice less glarey and the puck more visible. The quality of those YouTube highlights seemed sharper (better contrast?) than yesterday's game download though. I thought the webcast quality was otherwise pretty good. And I didn't mind Moran commentary.

Gary Moran drops the F-bomb and the C-bomb on what I guess he thought wasn't a live interview. Oh dear. At least he was referring to himself...

Schultz not playing in the second or third...

Not feeling too confident for this third to be honest, big period needed and can tell we're missing Schultz again. See the suspicious calls have started to creep in with the perfectly fine goal disallowed and a funny penalty call for their PP goal.

Really worried for tomorrow after the ref display today. Seriously up against it.

You just wonder whether some of these IIHF refs are a little corrupt with some of these calls they've given. A goal disallowed for absolutely no reason and three straight penalties at the end for pretty much nothing. How did the ref miss the spear on Lee at the end. It was right in front of him.
Well played Panthers. Putting in some really good performances. We look 10x the team we were 2 months ago

Well I'll take the win but not overly confident for tomorrow at all. Would of had that in regulation if it wasn't for the god awful and obviously biased reffing..

we really need ritten to lose in regulation tonight - so at least taking it to overtime will be good enough.
