Panthers deserved that, better team in 1 and 2 but looked tired in the the 3rd and invited pressure onto ourselves.
If I'm being honest we probably should have had a few more just after we went 3-1 but couldn't make our pressure pay off.
Goal 1 (Waugh) and 3 (Schulz) were magnificent,Schulz was seriously on it tonight looked sharp and was skating rings around Blaze at times.
Fewest number of Panthers fans I've seen at Cov for a while and probably less next time as the Blaze drummers (do you need 5 next to each other) were driving most people crazy. Or maybe the webcast is the reason who knows?

Whats is MacMillan doing 1 assist in 9 games Jeff Brown 3 points in 9 game, Carter 4 pts 9 games Come on you experts give me your assessments? ?? That bloke who comes out first at home matches has done stuff all as well. Nowhere to be seen tonight -I even saw him dancing in the stands last night- cannot see him wracking up many points. Gas him I say!

Excellent win that one and some nice goals. A fit Schultz and Mcgrattans presence has certainly made a big difference,I'm liking what I'm seeing at the moment.
Onwards and upwards to two tricky games next weekend,Sunday should be a cracker in Cardiff. But will we see Pacl in nets against the Storm next Saturday ?

Onwards and upwards to two tricky games next weekend,Sunday should be a cracker in Cardiff. That game is going to be a massive test. Thankfully it's 'only' a Challenge Cup game... still want to win it, of course, would still help us to win it... but less important than a league game. Even so... how we fare against Cardiff on their home ice is going to be an interesting indicator. Even if we lose, the manner in which we play, how we match up, is going to be interesting. Hopefully not. It's not Miika's first rodeo, he'll be used to playing back-to-back nights by now... so unless he's injured, I would expect to see him starting both.

This is an excellent result, hopefully it will be the start of the end of the Coventry away curse. This is a kind of result which helps win League Championships.
