Haha sign both drop betteridge for the game and have them take turns kicking Fitzgeralds head in firstly you cant drop a Brit for an import as we have an import limit, would have to sit out an import for them both to play. secondly kicking Fitzgerald's head in? either you've legs for arms or you've not watched hockey?

Ben Davies to Panthers perhaps after his ECHL Try-Outs later in September? Or will he return to Swindon as they're the only team to have given him a short-term deal.

He's apparently signed for an EIHL team but they wouldn't let him leave after 4 weeks for try-outs and then return so signed with Swindon short term and will then return to an EIHL team from try-outs (if unsuccessful).

Panthers usually would allow that, they did with Farmer so probably won't be us if that's the case. Hopefully i'm wrong, could do with the extra Brit, despite Betteridge having come on leaps and bounds on last season.

Or you could try not being insulting? I'm aware of that, it is a joke. Like when people suggest putting a scarecrow on instead of green or something along those lines l.I along with I'm guessing a fair few panthers fans dislike Fitzgerald and greatly enjoyed seeing cam paste him. I'll make it nice and clear. I'm aware you aren't allowed to kick players in the head.

Jindrich Pacl to Panthers. Randomly plucked name or in the know? Says he's signed to a team for this season, unless it's a loan situation

Seen this guy mentioned. Petr Kalus has called it. Could be social media mischief but he and Kalus are mates apparently so who knows?

I've also just heard we have a nettie on the way. I'm hearing Corey was always looking at going with 2 imports. Don't know how true it is. Much easier to state when we need to get one in though.

Better than nothing, but looking at that resume/stats,there's got to be better than that available.

Better than nothing, but looking at that resume/stats,there's got to be better than that available. To be fair he is only 21. Plenty of posts of recent times saying find a young Euro Goalie prepared to play second fiddle to an experienced No1. He seams to fit that bill perfectly. No, not an out and out No1 slot fighter with Mikka, but if it's to come in just when Mikka is injured then could be perfect. Obviously will be a wait and see, but he could prove to be an absoloute Gem!

Good signing give a young lad ice time and experience and make links with another team which may prove to be very valuable for us. Great move from all viewpoints good job Corey, just the last signing to go. Team is looking good atm lacho looking better farmer looking like a different player Carter and brown both looking great signing for us and schultz looking good too. Encouraging start, hope for the big signing very soon

I'll start sharpening my pitchfork just in case It'd be such a big signing for Belfast but incredibly heartbreaking for us.

Don't see Lepine going there tbh. If Corey knew he was available he'd be on the phone asap.
I'd prefer Leppy in on defence then push Lindhagen as a forward. This would work out a lot better

I'd take McLaren, he's tough as nails and has fought the best. But like Pidge says it would probably be a better move if we signed Lepine and utilised Lindhagen as a forward, brings more balance in the D and the speed up top would be deadly

I can't see Lepine back in the EIHL this season. He's earnt a shot in a top Euro league with his AHL experience. Wouldn't want him at Panthers in this team either, we need a guy who will do some fighting and Lepine's game has evolved way past being that guy... If you change him for Waugh/Dimmen and get a tough winger in, definitely.
McLaren I think would have gone to Cardiff if he was coming to the UK. Then again, I'm blinkered on the possibility of getting John Scott.

Lepine to Belfast would surely depend on how long Walser is out. they're at their import limit with Walser so with him out there is room but they've got Nickerson and Vandermeer who are tough guys. struggling to see it if im honest.
as for Mclaren to panthers i think we're all looking at John Scott to come in but Mclaren is a legit tough guy so id be happy if he came in, likewise if we got Justin Johnson.
