I think playing Belfast at this time is very good for us. They'll be concentrating on the CC game against Belfast and won't want to risk players at this time. And with the injuries they've got, it'll pivotal we hit them hard all night They'll be double concentrating on that upcoming game then Pies Haha in the farce that is the challenge cup, I'm surprised teams haven't played against themselves yet!

Wasn't it Belfast involved in the one leg game one season?

He can't drop Cam and should never need to. Sport is all about balance. If all the other imports between them can't get enough points, then swapping Cam over isn't going to be the difference. BUT he does give us a Plan B if Plan A isn't working which is worth more than yet another player who may or may not score a point.

It could be Macdonald who sits this one, makes sort of sense if he hasn't played much lately.

CN Wouldn't dare drop Cam, maybe away from home but not at home... I doubt GM would allow it if anything! Lawrence works hard but doesn't really score, either way, we've got enough to come out in front with the points. So what you are saying is, as this is an away game he might? You make a good point haha.

Dropping Madalora is the only way forward, it's not like there's much time to go dropping the new guys, we need to give them ice time asap.

Madalora and Dimmen should be the ones getting scratched tonight, Dimmen will probably be sore from his knock against Coventry so no point in risking him. Miika was on form against Coventry so it's best we start a hot netminder than one who hasn't played for almost two weeks. Perhaps save Madolora for Sunday depending on how tonight goes.

Panthers banter has tweeted that Madolora is starting with Green back up and Dimmen scratched.
Good decision on Dimmen I think, better to rest him than risk him but weird decision on starting Mads instead of Miika imo as thought Miika looked solid on Wednesday and he is the 'hot' goalie.

Wednesday was his return from injury too, maybe they thought 2 in 3 nights was chancing the arm a bit?

Maybe, also remembered that maybe Mads started as he was in when we won on penalties last time we were in Belfast.

Maybe Dimmen isn't 100%, like Miika 2 in 3 nights could've been dodgy.
Is Mosey playing D still, or is Oak getting a regular shift?
