- Why is Iginla so angry all the time?
- As we reach the half-way stage of the season, who are your picks to miss out on the PlayOff 1/4ers?

Braeheads supporters club paying for the team to fly down to Cardiff last Sunday and help secure a vital win......when Panthers haven't even got a supporters club ! Two teams, same owner, big differences......why ? Amazing. Never heard of anything like that and with supporters like that it's a wonder they are not skating their socks off?

AskTCW Question.
Two part question : 1) Are New Years Eve games a good idea and loved as much by the fans as by GM 2) Are 3pm Face Offs fair on season ticket holders that have full time jobs?
Personally i like Christmas Hockey but im not bothered by a game on NYE. In terms of 3pm FOs for this game only, its a nightmare, 5pm at the earliest for me.

Ticket sales would suggest to me that the answer to your question 1 is 'yes'

Ticket sales would suggest to me that the answer to your question 1 is 'yes' Do you not think our side of it, at least, would sell out anyway, like it normally does? Probably mate, yes. But the jist of the question seemed to be, 'are the games popular?' Poor ticket sales would suggest no, good sales, yes

Actually I didn't read the question properly, thought it was referring to the back-to-back games we've just had. NYE does seem to be selling well too (sold out?), and a Coventry game perhaps wouldn't normally, so can't really argue with it.
I do agree with Neil that 3pm on a working day is harsh though.

Should the Christmas schedule be more relaxed (as in not too many games in so little time) Would this prevent injuries to players and less expensive for fans who attend regularly?

#AskTCW Do you think that comparing Thommo's attitude and demeanor to that of a spoilt ten year old is unfair to ten year olds?

I second this question I also agree, without question he is "supposed" to be one of the most experienced coaches in British Ice Hockey, yet behaves like a spoilt brat. He doesn't set a great example.

Is Evan Mosey the best "unknown" signing Corey has made in his time at Panthers? He did well on a poor Panthers side last year but is still excelling in all areas of his game this year.

Is GM taking the mickey or does he really think that all Panthers fans are under the age of 11?

Does the review system of the DOPS need changed. Feels like some clubs are abusing the system and chucking £250 at an appeal for the sake of it. Would it be better if each team have 5 reviews they could use per year. loosing one each time the revies is not worthy of further punishment. For example the ridiculous appeal against Miika. Feels like the system is being abused badly this year.

They have the game tapes then why are the refs not reviewed? And if they are why are there obviously no sanctions? Why can't the EIHL afford more refs than can actually do the job? Why in our conference at least are we not using the 2 ref system?

Why in our conference at least are we not using the 2 ref system? Supposedly aren't the coaches scoring/rating the refs' performances for feedback this year? The 2-ref system was supposedly going to superseded by refs being able to have video review this season. But then they discovered it wasn't going to be possible at each facility, so the chucked/postponed that idea.

I know that coaches have been sanctioned for voicing their concerns about certain performances publicaly but I am unaware of any sanctions to any refs. It's all about the £££

Why in our conference at least are we not using the 2 ref system? They are reviewed by Kirkham I think and he gives them feedback. What sanctions are you hoping they give to them? As far as I know they do it for expenses (if that), would you keep doing that if you got publicly flogged when you mess it up?

The bigger question should be with all of the people going to games over this holiday period (and has been mentioned already on several sites including the Panthers own) why do they need to use refs who do it for just expenses? Talking to a couple of players in Scotland a few weeks back and they are even more peed off about it than the fans are. They put together DOPS for player safety and yet yesterday there were high sticks to the face, kneeing, boarding and all right in front of the refs face and not called. Player safety, I call BS. It's all about the £££
