Fitzgerald struggling there - knocked down and desperate to end it. He's out his depth against Salters - most if not all in the league would be though.
Salters isn't fighting much this season even though he's very good at it. I wonder if he signed for Cardiff because they didn't need him to fight and that suits him because he doesn't want to. I always think there are players who love fighting, and some who are very good at it but don't like it - I've always put Salters in the latter category.

Good tilt, and well done to the linesmen for letting them punch themselves out instead of jumping on it when Keefe dropped to his knees.
First Janssen fight at the NIC I think?

Do you genuinely believe Fitzgerald is "out of his depth" fighting Salters? Salters definitely won that one, but I believe Fitzgerald is one of the best "enforcers" our league has seen for a while.

There's no doubt Fitzgerald is tough but, as I say, they all struggle with Salters in this league. Look how easily Salters handled Keefe - in all his years here I've never seen Keefe beaten like that and he's fought some top level tough guys. Salters is just a beast.

I disagree - salters is a solid fighter but when I've seen him have scraps for us, he wasn't dominating - him and Keefe fought a solid draw out once. I just don't think he's a beast

I don't think Fitzgerald is out of his depth against Salters. Having said that I do recall the fight in question when Salters absolutely overpowered and dominated Keefe at the NIC. Not many have done that to Keefe in his time over here. It was a pleasure to watch.
