Would we be happy with someone like Andrew Murray as 1st line centre ? Listed as under contract to Medvescak Zagreb KHL on Elite Prospects but it also says under confirmed tranactions he has now left . Played through NCAA with Brendan Cook and briefly with Geoff Waugh in 13/14 . Not a rumour but would possibly fit the criteria for what we need in that position www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=11561straight out of being captain of a KHL team...lets just say that's never gonna happen you never know what about Chris holt he was a good standard goalie but went to breahead

straight out of being captain of a KHL team...lets just say that's never gonna happen you never know what about Chris holt he was a good standard goalie but went to breahead difference is, he'd come from a year out back to Italian/Austrian league which is where EIHL gets its fair share of players from, and so even with his pedigree it wasn't out of the question. same can be said for Juraj Kolnik, LNAH and Swiss 2nd Division in his last 2 seasons, indicating he perhaps doesnt command the salary he has done previously with spells in Swiss Elite League/KHL/NHL.

Just as Lizon had already signed for us Yotes! Contracts mean nowt until the player actually turns up! There maybe more implications screwing a team over in North America. Fair point nate24 - I vaguely recollect one tough guy from the LNAH who wanted to sign over here a few years back, but was prevented from doing so by the 'owners' of his current team, who were allegedly a group of Hell's Angels - don't think I'd want to upset them too much either!

That was Ex panther Jason Clarke who signed for Sheffield and apparently turned up at the airport to be greeted by a gang of hells angels who informed him that he would be going nowhere and funnily enough he didn't.

Panthers next signing to be a forward. Would that mean we will be signing a full quota of imports in the next week or two? A forward would leave a rather large spot in the defensive pairings.

if we're still going with 12 imports, would that mean moving Mosey back to D to cover Peckham and bringing in an accomplished forward?

Hopefully it would mean that we are going with a full compliment.
The rumour I heard is that a forward has become available who Corey can't say no to.

With this mystery forward coming in I'm sure we're still left with an open slot on the roster, we had 12 signed up then Peckham decided not to come so that's 11 bring in the new forward and we've still got the D man to sign, heard a rumour that Chicago are getting rid of Kane due to all the allegations against him, he's deffunatky a player Corey couldn't say no to aha

Just talking to a mate at the Braehead game. He does told me stuff in the past which has been true. He just said that a forward has become available.

A lot of high end players struggling for contracts so this could be very exciting. It could be a damp squib too but we are at the time of year that players struggling to sign start to explore options further afield. See what happens I guess.

Daniel Carcilo, rumoured to being retiring, wouldn't mind him coming over and pairing with Janssen they could be like the bash brothers from mighty ducks aha

Another import forward would mean Mosey playing in defence, not too bothered about that as he was great in both positions. We'd still be an import short though.
Hopefully this forward is a big, tough guy, can't have Janssen fighting every game.

We need a guy who steps up when the puck is in play.

We have a short list of three players is what I heard and we are absolutely going one import down for the foreseeable future. I've heard this from a very good source.
