They wouldn't but the question is what would I do. Fair enough. Would make interesting reading.

Just as it has been said. Get good people in jobs rather than be a closed shop. Great abilities wasted from people who will do all this for nothing. Folk under GM who have new ideas.

I think we need a reshuffle. Firstly, although we owe him a great debt and when he does play he (especially at the end of this season) stands on his head, Kwall just hasn't been durable enough over the past 2 seasons for us to mount a serious challenge. I thought Modig could be his successor but I've lost that feeling. We'd need a premier GK to come in instead though - someone with a consistent 91-92% save average and 2.00 goals against average over the past 4/5 years.
We need at least 2 wingers who have had 4/5 consecutive seasons scoring 20+ goals. Mark Derlago would match Steelers have Roy.
On defence we need a Lepine figure again. This has been so sorely missed since Gui left. He lets the forwards grow in statue and play their game... Imagine how much more confident Farmer would be! Maybe if we could woo Tyson Marsh over?
I'm also a big fan of the Tanaka brothers. Both work so hard, draw penalties, fast as lightening and drive to the net. Point production of Cale isn't as high but they are ideal 'engine rooms' who go out and make things happen.
A top end centre would be nice too. Perfect example would be a Yannick Tifu type guy would chips in with a goal too and has captained his teams before.
From our current team I'd like to keep the Brits, Wild, Mosey and Doucet. I'm undecided on Benedict as he undoubtedly works hard but his end product has been decreasing every season. I thought this year we had too many would work their socks off but struggle to produce anything. If I could swap Brandon for a Leigh Salters or Josh Brittain then I probably would do.
Off ice of course the webcasts to games would be great.

Something else needs to be done in the period breaks, on the ice. My boss first went to an ice hockey match in Belfast and when he comes to Nottingham he says it's boring. Apparently they have a cannon that they shoot t-shirts out of into the crowd etc.
The slapshot competition etc was also good. We need something in the periods to entertain.
By all means keep the academy skaters, but there is another period break to fill.

I'd would get the coaching situation sorted out ASAP. Basically within the next couple of weeks.
If new coach then it's tough, do you go with a coach that is used to signing his own players, which would limit you to coaches that have basically coached in this country, Or go with a very experienced coach like Chuck Webber but who will most likely never of done any recruiting himself, which could be a disaster if he decides to leave the GM to do the recruiting with little input from himself. Wouldn't be so bad if we had someone like Todd Kelman in charge who knows Ice Hockey. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Kelman signing the players in Belfast and now Cardiff anyway as no matter who coached belfast as long as TK has been the GM they always had very similar style teams and now the same in Cardiff.
Personally I do not want to see Kowalski go but I think it is probably the right time. I think in the last 3 out of 4 Seasons he has missed considerable time through injury.
During recruiting I would stay away from players with a history of injury problems. Panthers seem to do it quite often with signing players who have missed considerable amounts of time through injury in the last two seasons and then winge when they miss lengthy spells through injury. I know anyone can get injured but your taking more of a risk with an injury prone player. I also see why Panthers do this in the past because you can get a quality player on a decent deal. But it's only decent if they are fully fit and can stay healthy.
I would put a webcast out for every game.
Stick it on at £10. Still a hell of a lot cheaper than a game ticket. But not so cheap to affect attendances too much. People will still go games but you will get a lot of away fans and home fans that just can't make the game that day.
I think in the past panthers have tried to spread there skill level to evenly over the lines which means the skill level on the top line is lower that it could/should be.
By all means go with 4 lines. But have a real top standout star line. Sheffield effectively won the league with one line this year. Just as long as the other are all capable and fill a role.
