Of course it was a good goal, and should have been allowed, under those interpretations:
1. If an attacking player deliberately kicks, throws, bats with the hands or otherwise directs the puck by any means other than his stick into the goal net even if the puck has been further deflected by any player, goalkeeper or official,
The player kicked the puck to the goal, it did not go in. Kwall then saved it, and it was then put in with a players stick.

Can be read either way Shorty, depends if you are counting the hit on Kwall as a save or deflection, if its a deflection then no goal, if its a save then goal... Alll academic now anyway as the ref said no so to all intents and purposes its a NO goal. Plenty have gone against us in the past and this year so i will take it and move on just like the fife players/fans have to.

It just shows how many of us still dont understand the rules!
Whether Hicks is getting this right, or the netminder leaving the ice earlier than he should, then why cant he spot the more obvious ones?
