Quite a few rumours knocking about yesterday evening that this is to be Corey's last season with us.
I hope it's wrong as he has been brilliant for us as a player and a coach.

Quite a few rumours knocking about yesterday evening that this is to be Corey's last season with us. I hope it's wrong as he has been brilliant for us as a player and a coach. This same rumour has happened for the past two years. Normally fuelled by people thinking that he wants his kids brought up back home. I would hope that if this is his last season then it is announced before our last home match so that a fitting tribute can be paid to him by the fans and management.

Im sure this pops up around this time every season, if it is true either this season or another I hope we can keep Strachan as bench coach. Who do people think would replace Corey, would we try and give a player to develop themselves like we did with Corey or bring someone in with more experience?

Can't see it, unless he's bored of it. He won't get sacked and his kids must be well into schooling over here by now?

Find this quite hard to believe, he's just recently bought a house in Nottm and sold the Canada home, his son is at the moment playing for team GB in Quebec. Perhaps he also has his job on the line if we don't win any trophies this year.....(joking hopefully but no one knows what NB or GM has said to him)

That was only a part time job for both of them, they could still manage the team GB. To be honest I really wondered how those two would fare working together, both have different styles and I just couldn't see Corey towing the line, he is soo particular. Then again him and Strax are like chalk & cheese.

Can't see it at all myself. However, if he does, I would be on the phone to Jordan Fox immediately, whilst keeping Rick Strachan too. No-one else for me at the moment.

Yes if he does leave let's get on the phone to an ex player with no coaching experience and expect immediate success!

If Corey leaves (and I very much doubt he will), I'd like to see us try and tempt Paul Adey away from Belfast. I believe Adey's family still lives in Nottingham.

All I've heard is that he is sweating about his job for next season fur to the way this year has unfolded If that's true then it stupid. Corey is not to blame for this season. The fact we are in the challenge cup final and still can win the playoffs is enough for me given the shocking run of injuries and suspensions we have had. I really don't see anyone else doing any better than corey has this season with everything he has had to contend with.

Irrespectful of the injuries, the player recruitment (by Corey) has been poor. You may have to weedle out one player from the original line up but the comings and goings have been ridiculous. Most fans could see from the get go that some weren't up to panthers standard.

Sorry but I disagree massively, there hasn't been much wrong with the recruitment as you cannot argue with the pedigree of players we have signed AHL/NHL/DEL experience the problem has been too many inconsistant/below par individual performances. The ridiculous comings and goings as you describe them have been forced upon us by injuries. I think if we had kept a healthy line up we would only have gassed Wren and Capraro.

Dunno why he'd be worried, unless he falls out with Gary or Neil, he's in for as long as he wants to be.
