Nephew of Mike Ware, apparently.
If he's got the Ware genes in him that will liven things up a bit.

We would majorly come out as the losers in that swap! No we wouldn't, we would get one of the best Brits in the league back in a panthers shirt and loose an average import. Win win Panthers if you ask me I wouldn't say Matt Ryan is average, I'd place him somewhere between good and very good. To me he has stood up and been counted whilst we've been playing short handed. Yeah I get that Myers is a Brit and that's important but I wouldn't have him over an import. Plus signing him this season would imbalance the roster. Him, Clarke, Lacho, Farmer & Boxill is to many British players up front, leaves room for 5 import forwards rather than 6 (unless you signed a proper enforcer who'd play limited minutes but they are pretty outdated). Plus the only player you could cut for him is Farmer, Lacho & Clarke aren't going anywhere and Boxill is the 10th forward (a role I doubt Farmer would want plus it wouldn't suit his skill set, has to be on a top line to be effective). So comes down to Farmer or Myers and personally I'd take Farmer. Sorry for taking it off topic a smidgen there. Really like the look of 'The Big O' gives us the bite and size on defence we had last season with Beckett and Lepine, a very nice 1-2 punch. Plus this meaning less minutes for Murray can only be a good thing, allows him to play a regular shift rather than being out there 35-40 minutes (leading to some mental lapses) as it seems like he has done at various stages this season, I'd look to him to be a lot more effective in the run to the playoffs now.

He's trying to sell tickets in Sheffield. Can't blame him for that. That's one of his jobs. Are you DS?

Just reading the OS about the shirt sale and the last couple of lines indicate we will be chopping the squad this weekend. To quote " Players still with the club will be on hand to customize any purchases" I read that as someone is leaving.

Mike Ware....now that was a properly hard D man. Until he got in the way of Jim Mathieson's fists in the first Sheffield bench clearance. The biggest travesty of a non-call I've ever seen. Mathieson absolutely battered him. Jersey over the head, rain of uppercuts battered him. Not even a minor penalty came his way. Refs have been missing stuff for years.

Its because players like Capraro and Makela's shirts are in the auction and they have long gone.

I notice they keep saying "home debut" instead of just debut. This mean he plays against Sheffield?

Hope he's not too jetlagged tomorrow then. Will be interesting to see how he adapts to this league. So long as he doesn't do another Grimaldi and plays it clever he should be OK. Cant wait for Sunday.
