Cracking first period, all over the Vipers for the first ten minutes before they called a time out and got themselves together. They looked much more dangerous after that. Glad to see Shmyr and Cornish go, but it was over pretty quick.
Second and third periods, uninspiring mainly. Rasty pretty much kept us in the game and we managed to hold onto the lead for two much needed road points.
Bags of room for improvement, but the confidence is returning which was nice to see. A win is a win and I'm happy to take it. Thanks Panthers

Well Done Panthers like said above a wins a win no matter how you do it. Have spoken to Lucy who I'm sure will post on here later, We were brill in the first 10 mins as the score showed, 2nd period not too good and 3rd period was very quiet and just general run of the mill. we seem to flog our selves to death in the 1st in order to get as many goals as we can then if we have a dire 2nd / 3rd hopefully we are too far in front to be caught, Lucys says Clarkie looked very tired at the end . I'm well pleased with the points and hopefully we can capitalise on this again tomorrow.

Not long by all accounts, Ryan hit him once and that was it.

Just got back to Helen's after the game. We could have come home after 13 minutes! In that time we got 5 goals and a fight! Shymr beat Cornish, both threw a few punches and I thought that Cornish was on top, then Shymr catches him with a beauty full on in the face and Cornish went down like a sack of spuds! Great PP hockey from the Panthers in the 1st few minutes and some clinical finishing. After that Rasta was the hero making several superb stops to keep Moblix from equalising and deserving yet another MOM. More of the same tomorrow please Panthers.

Helen. You wanted a goal scorer like Tess, you got him and he has not set your team on fire. You can try to get a net minder like Rusty but trust me even he could not make your team look any better than they are. Sorry but DREAMS DONT MAKE TEAMS in Shuffield.

Why not save yourself more torture tomorrow night Helen. Leave Block 208 Row F Seat 16 empty and join the happy guys at the NIC for a real game of ice hockey. I might even buy you a pint after the game.
