Quite incredible stat upcoming:
Not only did the Europa League and Champs league have the same score, but the goals happened in the same order and (incredibly) were scored in exactly the same minutes!
Now, anyone who's good with advanced statistics, can you tell me the odds of this happening?

Now, anyone who's good with advanced statistics, can you tell me the odds of this happening? I guess the calculation you're after would have to assume a normal distribution of number of goals scored by each team with a random distribution of what minute those goals were scored in. Otherwise you're getting into having to first assess the strengths and weaknesses of each team. The odds of goals being scored in a given sequence at given times are obviously low, but no lower for this given sequence of times than any other given sequence. A reasonable indication of your odds could be had by estimating the number of pairs of football games that there have been, and the number of times that your sequence has happened. Divide the latter by the former and you'll have your estimated odds.
