I know there are a few of you on here who like your beer, so I thought I'd recommend my favourite beer festival that's coming up in a couple of weeks. www.threevalleysfestival.org.uk/Basically it's a number of venues in the south of Sheffield who all put on their own mini beer festivals on the same day. There's a free festival bus to jump on and travel between the venues, so you get to sample a number of different pubs in the same day. There's a direct train from Nottingham to Dronfield, where most of the festival pubs are located. Although it's the opposite end of Sheffield to me, I've been the last 3 years and really enjoyed it.....at least what I remember of it. ;D Regards Doom

I'm off to Newark beer festival this weekend That looks a good range of beers for you to sample Pidge, although I'm not sure I'd fancy taking on that 12% barley wine. Regards Doom

How was the festival?.....You certainly had a nice day for it and I'm guessing you finished the night off with the boxing. Regards Doom

Yeah mate it was a lovely hot sunny afternoon , it was very busy there all sat outside on the lawns with our half pint tankards 😄 I certainly tasted some ales I'd never seen before that's for sure.
Yeah had to leave late afternoon and get 2 trains back to Worksop as I hate people round my house for the froch/Kessler fight, and what entertainment 😄

I was hoping to go, but I am currently in the process of reinstalling about 100 PCs so I couldn't have time off
