Matsos would be great for giants, shuff have never been the same since he left. He knows how to win games and that is never boring.
Finnerty to clan would b a lazy move, I think they will get a player coach, it may be a bit of a surprise.

Not so sure that Bergin was close to the job in Braehead, any team wanting to climb to the top 4 or 5 are not going to do it with a player coach. Who ever goes there will have a free hand to recruit those players who play for the shirt all he needs is a reasonable budget to do so.

Its my understanding that that is why Bergin turned the Clan down. They wanted him as player/coach he only wanted to be a coach

apparently there should be a very good DEL player signing in the EIHL providing everything goes to plan.

Because if your very good, you can earn good money even in his country. Plus there are numerous other benefits to playing in this country. Especially if your 30+ and have an eye on what you will be doing when you retire.

Because his agent said the deal is nearly done. What ever he is being offered is obviously a good deal to the player and better than any other on offer

It'll be the offer of a college/uni course.
On a side note, I know we do it, but what other EIHL teams have link-ups with unis/colleges?
I believe Sheffield do I also believe Belfast do
Any others?

putting 2+2 together and coming up with 15, have Giants shifted Towe on to Swindon to make a bit more room on the budget for Dowd?
