Wonder if Sheffield will be putting anything on their jerseys to celebrate their play off double? Perhaps two golf balls?

If I am honest, there is part of me a little disappointed that they failed to qualify, a Belfast v Sheffield semi would have been quite a good match, can't see Coventry even pushing Belfast.... I am also now worried for Tuesday, going to need a really strong ref to take control of that game as I think they will be up to all sorts of antics....

Reading the Sheffield players tweets about the games is like reading "excuse making 101"
You lost to a battling side boys - be gracious and maybe apologise to your fans rather than excuses

Sheffield at the playoffs adds to the spice of the games and the atmosphere. My response was that's all well and good but if we weren't to win the playoffs I'd rather lose to anyone but Sheffield.

Apparently, Hicks has it in for Steelers due to the whole Rhino vs CH thing (No I didnt know it was a thing either)....
.... As such, Hicks shouldnt have reffed as he couldnt be impartial.... Not an April Fools.

Not an April Fools. I think a Panther fan may have been the root of this, winding up SteelTalk, in relation to Hicks reffing a game between us that Shuff lost, with a comment like this... Funny how these things balloon from such little acorns.

Antics of decaro, ferguson were laughable last night, firstly decaro was a disgrace last night 5 times the blaze were on the attack magically the net kept coming off its moorings never a penalty was called, chucked a hissy fit when Cameron's 3rd goal for the blaze flew into the roof of his net, actually rated ferguson before this weekends game Saturday he was bad, last night a complete tool any time one of our players skated anywhere near him, over he went like an Olympic diver looking for a call, love it when we beat you,but beating the steelers is another kettle of fish, ratboy finnerty,Shaun limpwrist who should have had a severe beating from someone by now he's had it coming for a loooonnnng time, see you all at the weekend, cannot see us getting past the giants but stranger things have happened, with Henrich in the team and re-signed for next year along with egener we do have some quality out on the ice to cause them some problems

I think that Blaze have a realistic chance of winning the play offs. They lack depth but play with real passion and intensity and could cause an upset. Certainly, they don`t like The Giants and if they can keep their discipline, do have a chance and Panthers have been a bit flat since winning the title. I hope we win but would like to see a final with Blaze - it would certainly be more entertaining than playing Giants.

We destroyed Sheffield in the cup, Cardiff played a good road game on a night we weren't bothered about but still managed to equalise and win on penalties. Great away win in the BBT with Green in goal. Fife were phenomenal this weekend. I too would like to play blaze in the final should we get passed Devils
