What an absolutely abysmal trade for the Penguins! Trading an old declining winger for a real good prospect?

Having watched b.mo all season, there's one phrase that springs to mind: YEAH BOY! He's been terrible and played on our 4th lines at times. Though why we've took a defensive prospect, I don't know. We have an abundance if them!

I know at least one Flames fan who'll be crying his little eyes out.

2 college kids and a 1st round pick. Cheap deal IMO.
Line of Malkin, Crosby & Iginla should cause some problems.
Welcome to Calgary, home of the nobodys.

Wow, Penguins going for it for the cup. He'll fit in nicely there

Wow, Penguins going for it for the cup. He'll fit in nicely there If they fail it will be most amusing. Next season will be interesting though, with their seven UFAs and limited funds.....

It seems BOS were convinced that had a deal for him only for the player to decline and opt for PIT.
