what a ridiculous statement to make. a looney will be a liability to the team, we are competing well in the title race and we dont need anything that will disrupt that, he all he has to do is come in play a controlled tough & physical game and contribute some goals/assists and we'll carry on with the good form we are showing.

Now on his way and will be jetlagged and knackered for his debut this weekend... and will hopefully score a hatrick.

We could have done with a loon last night to cause havoc in the caps crease, put the netty off his game, get the oppo on their toes and fire us up. The game was crying out for Lepine to no choice some one, or Ling to run the keeper.

No what we need was someone to put the puck in the back of the net.

We could have done with a loon last night to cause havoc in the caps crease, put the netty off his game, get the oppo on their toes and fire us up. We didn't need "a loon" for that to happen... just for our existing players to do what we've already seen them do most games... get in fast, check hard, disrupt opposition formations and make space. We don't need a "loon" who is only likely to get himself binned... Neither. The game was crying out for the Panthers to do what we know they can do... hit hard, hit often... take the initiative, control the play. They didn't - and so Edinburgh's gameplan was allowed to proceed unhindered.

Would be great if he is as effective as Devils new guy, Gimblett flew from Calgary to Belfast today and has scored against the Giants in 2.39 mins.

You are just jealous that you don't have auto correct.
Solid first showing from Wilson, nice goal, shame he wasn't on the ice for the mini brawl. Didn't look like hull wanted anything to do with him. Fitted straight in, checked hard and allowed the team to play tough. So far so good
