It's been boring. Particularly the LA games. As soon as someone goes in front, game over. Disagree. I follow Red Wings and both rounds involving them were back and forth and very even. Many games (in particular against the Ducks) ending with an OT goal. Agree, even though I'm gutted we went out after being close to knocking out the No1 seed , it was a awesome series between 2 commited teams there was some fantastic stuff played in most of the 7 games. Hopefully our young side ( especially the defence ) will come back better next year , we can get some of our injured players back healthy ., all this experience helps them too . Ideally hoping LA and Boston meet for the cup ., although I don't really dislike the hawks too

How about Smith in the series against Chicago? Everyone needs a scapegoat but he did make an awful lot of mistakes. There were some games where he couldn't clear the zone without turning it over 2 or 3 times. I still like him though. Of course, it wasn't his entirely his fault at all. He will be better next year and he always looks good once he's transitioned into the neutral zone. Shame DeKeyser couldn't play the whole play-offs - he looks really promising.
Who do you think shone the most? I mean outside the obvious of course (Z/Dats/Kronwall). For me it was Nyquist. He is going to be spectacular in the couple of years.
I was really grateful to one of the EIHL Fan Twitter accounts for RUINING the result of Game 7 for before I had seen it. He re-tweeted a comment from Tootoo saying thanks to the fans "see you in a few months". So p1ssed off about that!

I agree , Nyquist is going to be a special player in a few years, I really like the look of Dekeyser too, got the size and reads the game well . Damien Brunner is another along with Andersson too . Smith has the potential but is prone to turnovers etc

It's how it works for a neutral and quite frankly - yawn. Hope the East final is fun.

Stanley Cup Final Chicago Blackhawks (1) v Boston Bruins (4)
I'll go Hawks in 6.

Told you it wouldn't be Hawks v Pens in the final Pidge. Never is the two favourites.

Boom, Mystic Yotes Crazy finish to game 6, Boston must've been reeling. Congrats to the Hawks, will be there or thereabouts for years.

I don't really follow NHL but the only game I have been to over there was in Chicago V Ottawa in 2008. They won 2-0 with Cristobal Huet getting the shutout so I keep half an eye on their results. 2 in 4 years! Almost as dominate as Panthers!

After 4 years, the Dogs are finally sold. Dunno whether it'll work out, but at least I won't have to hear about it for a while.
