Not Toronto's fault Bryzgalov is a sieve.

Not Toronto's fault Bryzgalov is a sieve. Scrivens hardly covered himself in glory either, caught behind the net three times. At least Bryz can say he's tired. Either way, I didn't even insinuate the Leafs were to blame... The lack of a call on the broken stick by Phaneuf at the end was shambolic. Absolutely no excuse.

I'll take Scrivens' 92% save percentage over Bryzgalov's woeful 85% effort any day of the week. Seems the result has left a lot of Flyers' fans grumpy; twitter was rampant with them last night. Blame the refs all you want but a crap PP (again) against the Leafs undermined Philadelphia.
3 shots on 6 PP opportunities pretty much sums it up.

Believe it or not, i'm really happy with that. About time we had something to feel good about.
If it weren't for Voracek and Giroux, we'd be bottom of the division.

I always liked Voracek - he's turning into a great player.

Almost blew the victory last night against NYI; up 4-2 but won it 5-4 in OT thanks to a Phaneuf goal. Kadri was simply fantastic last and it wasn't just because if the hat trick.
Starting to become the player we'd hoped for at draft day in 2009.

Sharks were rubbing their hands together at the prospect of playing Detroit with, as one San Jose reporter put it, "the worst netminder in the NHL" playing.
Only allowed a single goal and stonewalled San Jose in the shoot out. Early days but perhaps 'The Monster' isn't so bad......

He isn't in my honest opinion; played on a crap TOR team with an even crappier defense in front of him. Quite how Burke allowed Wilson to play a run and gun style of play without the players to do so is simply moronic.
One thing I do think is suspect with Gustavsson is his mental toughness; gets too annoyed too quickly when things go wrong in game.

Absolutely pathetic tonight, yet again.
Laviolette deserves to lose his job ten times over but no, he stays. This team is a fudging disgrace.

Couple of good showings against BOS & PIT but only 1 point to show for it; should possibly have taken both points last night but Reimer was very shaky in the early part of the game but finished with a flourish.
Some nice hits last too against Crosby & Co; onwards and upwards.

I know your pain Detroit fans. #gustavsson To be fair 'The Monster' only conceeded three and had the better game. Howard was in for the first four. Pains me to say this but Chicago played an excellent game from start to finish.

Jagr a Bruin & Roy a Canuck; Leafs given permission to talk to Kiprusoff too (doubt that one happens.)

8th place and 5 wins in a row! The stars look better for the trades of Morrow, Roy and Jägr. Chisasson is the real deal folks.

Playoffs all decided then, starting tomorrow night in the west.
Eastern

Western
Chicago Blackhawks (1) v Minnesota Wild (8) Anaheim Ducks (2) v Detroit Red Wings (7) Vancouver Canucks (3) v San Jose Sharks (6) St Louis Blues (4) v LA Kings (5)

I honestly can't see past a Hawks vs Pens final with the Hawks edging it. Though I think the best of the first round matchups will be Canadiens vs the Sens.
