We thought that was someone dressed up. Why would Don Cherry sit in a normal block, as opposed to a corporate box? It was someone dressed up as Don Cherry, but was announced as Don Cherry. I doubt the real Don Cherry would venture to a pokey little ice hockey playoffs like ours! Bloke on the right here:

It is..it holds 8300 i think...but it is very shabby, uncomfy and you cant see through the plexi It holds 9,200 without extra seating at the stage end. And it is nowhere near as "shabby" as some on here like to make out, but it can be rather dirty sometimes (floorwise). I believe the seats are on a re-covering programme. Re-covering the seats isn't going to improve the leg-room.

Why do Showsec have a conniption fit every time one of the fans so much as touches it from the 'other side'?

Might be "tolerable" for you but when you dont have to go there why tolerate it at all, the seats are that vertical you get vertigo, cracked knees from no leg room and ear ache from the mike, all very good reasons in my book not to attend...

The 'jumbatron' looks horrendous...a nice shade a stained grey, i think that needs to be replaced first and foremost so at least the venue looks modern inside. Im glad they are re-covering the seats at last It is better to walk around though due to the extra space on the concourse as well as the walkway around splitting the top and bottom tier.

I'd like to thank everyone for the positive feedback regarding it, glad it went down well. Keith

Put it this way, I had to search for it! ;D Worringly, it is a suit (now there's an image for you)! But Don only wears the jackets.
