there must be some truth in it because Danton has started retweeting messages of support about it

Well they have got rid of wood, so I assume they will have someone else coming in.

Interesting stats. Lots of AHL games and decent points, also lots of Pims and only played 12 games this season.

Bit of info here from a few years ago.
Nashville Predators sign Kelsey Wilson to one-year contract
Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has signed forward Kelsey Wilson to a one-year contract worth $525,000 at the NHL level and $70,000 at the AHL level. Wilson, 24 (1/22/10), returns to North America after one season with EC Red Bull Salzburg, which he helped win the Erste Bank Liga (Austria) title in 2009-10. The Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., native led the Austrian League in penalty minutes (265) while amassing 40 points (16g-33a) in 70 games a season ago. Prior to his season abroad, Wilson spent three campaigns with Milwaukee (AHL), leading the Admirals in penalty minutes in all three seasons (2006-09). In 2008-09, the Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., native was one of just four AHLers to post at least 30 points (15g-17a-32pts) and 150 penalty minutes (160), and in 2006-07, he led all AHL rookies in penalty minutes (215). Originally signed by Nashville as an amateur free agent on Oct. 6, 2006, the 6-1, 214-pound left winger has 70 points (32g-38a) and 554 penalty minutes in 220 American Hockey League contests.

Hes a tough cookie ill give you that, if we do sign him I hope he can play too. i think his 40 Points in the top Austrian Division (which is of a lot higher standard than ours) along with his 32 points in 1 season at AHL level indicates that he can play. and all of this whilst racking up around 400pims in just those 2 seasons alone, which will no doubt have cut his ice time significantly if hes in the penalty box - one thing im sure people will jump on if he does end up signing. Still, a damn sight better than Chris Frank! - more similar to steelers other new signing Simon Ferguson if anything

Hes got some pretty big fighters on hi fightcard aswell including Boris Valabik, Mike Hoffman, Matt Kassian, Garnett Exelby, Kip Brennan, Nolan Yonkman, Brandon Bollig, Brandon Prust, Cardiff's very own Tyson Marsh and Belfast's Adam Keefe
i've got a funny feeling this guy could well be a new fan favourite

Both are happy to drop the gloves, but neither is a heavyweight fighter. If he's in before Christmas I can see our little series of games being very feisty affairs....What odds Wilson and Frank going at it? Regards Doom

He took an aggressor within the last 5 minutes of the game, must have been bad because his team mate with the same penalty/same incident only got 1 game and no fine. www.echl.com/echl-announces-fines-suspensions-p180505
