Will be watching on the live internet from the 'O' with the comedian double act doing the commentry to keep us all entertained. We're having a 'hockey party' so hope we're not disappointed.

Daddyrich... why on Earth do you go to watch the Panthers? If your sole purpose is to see a league trophy get lifted then your chances are much better at Belfast and Sheffield....
I hope we do get the Challenge Cup, yes we always settle for "mickey mouse" trophies but its silverware at the end of the day. Any form of silverware is an achievement, especially if we can win against possibly one of the strongest Giants sides i've seen.

All depends on the first leg in my opinion, if we can stay within one goal then panthers will win the cup. Anything worse than that then I think Belfast are too good of a team for panthers to overcome in the home leg.

where does the confidence that we can beat them at home come from? Giants are 3-0 on us at the NIC this season

Not directly Panthers fault as to the competition being so 'poo'. It's a domestic trophy and combines with League and Play-Offs to make our season. So let's not 'hope' our team loses. We can get on their backs enough when we think they are not trying.Be supportive and let's chalk up another title.

Few things to remember for your party:- Bums on seats The louder the roar the bigger the score A dancing monkey When the games over all sing "Come on over to my place" Sorted

Ill be hoenst and say although I obviously want Belfast to win the CC , if I had to swap it for the league and the playoffs I would.
The score tomorrow night will obviously depend on the Panthers team that turns up. With the league now gone Corey will have them fired up to retrieve something from the season and also to ensure he has a chance to scupper your league chances next year.
It will be a very tight game at the O where at times in the past high pressure games havent gone our way, despite that I think it could be quite a physical and fiesty game from the Panthers and the ensuing PM may just allow our PP to let us scrape a 2-1 home leg advantage.
I would still tip the Panthers to take the initiative in the 2nd leg and lift the cup...I hope I am wrong.
If of course we let you win the cup ;-) then should the need arise I would expect a favour in the last home game of the season in the O

Why on earth do some people knock the challenge cup ?
It takes 10 or 12 games played to win it,however only 4 games to win the play offs, but i would hazard a guess that the very same people who demean the cup would be jumping around like demented muppets if Panthers won the final at play off weekend.
They should remember, there will be at least seven teams this season who don't win any trophy at all !

The whole league bit at the start where one group is a group of death and the other is a piece of P. Then the whole league and cup combined games, totally de-value the cup.
I would love to see us win it, it is the second trickyest trophy to win, but sort out these points and you've got a proper competition.
