Nobody said Corey picked out his target. Go back and read the post again. It says exactly the opposite.

Clan fans are saying they saw "Corey eye up his target" well that's just crap.[/quote] I've had a look through all the stuff I could find about this and haven't come across one fan, let alone 'fans' saying this. Could you be more specific as to where you saw this.

No, you had it before that for some pretty blatant trolling. The people wanted us to be a little stricter, we're clamping down a bit. Maybe you could explain what trolling means? I have 38 posts in 7 months - taking part in game discussions which I have enjoyed with fellow hockey fans - this may well be my last on here. To those who are about to say 'great', doesn't say much for your forum where people cannot have an opinion or 'banter' with fellow fans...come along and join the clanfans forum, they are a bit more grown up on there!

Corey is a family man. I'm sure he will be devastated by this, and will do what he can to make amends.

This is all getting ridiculous....it happened,it shouldn't have...it's at Corey's door whether he apologises or not BUT I'd like to think he would right a wrong, and accept whatever the governing body (pffftttttt) decide!!!!!as far as I'm concerned, having seen the incident,is that it was a stupid petulant lift into the crowd that has made him look like an idiot!!!!

Perhaps worth just leaving the public execution until Corey makes a statement - which he will. The guy is a family man, loves his kids and will be hurting at what's happened as a result of his moment of madness. I really don't understand the outrage either, to suggest a five year old is cognisant of the fact that once the buzzer goes its safe to stop watching for the puck is ludicrous - if someone had been hit 5 mins earlier it wouldn't even be mentioned. Avoidable and regrettable? Yes. Character assassination required...clearly not.

Back to the game, having just watched the highlights, I'm amazed at how long we had the empty net for and it seems a couple of times the Clan came close to scoring. I know the league is the main goal but I'm surprised we were willing to allow the Clan to double their cup lead so easily? I'm confident we will win by 1 against a short bench and probably even 2 but still a bit of a risk to me.

Can you post the link please. I'd like to see it as well. Which bit exactly do you disagree with ? I have not disagreed or agreed. I have not seen it. You must have to have written what you have

Just seen the highlight sorry I can't get the link on iPhone YouTube app. Anyway nice goal by francis, what happened to walker 92 lol he seemed to try and hit lee and hurt himself doing it lol. Looked like lee didn't even do anything. As for there 3rd how the hell did we let them score that ? Rubbish defensively. Oh and good goal by jade for there first.

Tonight was a great, great game of Hockey played at a very fast pace for most of the night. It was end to end and could have went either way, a neutral would have loved it only slightly less than a Clan Fan. Your guys came out of the traps quickly in the third and scored two very quick goals, the second one being pretty well worked if my memory serves, and I think we all feared the worst. But the fairy tale restarted with a rare goal from our manager, and then a fairly silly penalty taken by your manager allowed our PP to do it's magic and Brock McPherson scored a great goal to give us the win. We drove all the up there saturday morning and drove back after the match (I feel washed out today), and it is dissapointing that we lost - but it was a good game of hockey which really could have gone either way. Looks like the clan are the real deal and I expect will be fighting for the top spot some time in the near future.

Firmly in the hands of the little girls family now as to what happens next I would say. Both Panthers and Clan being very careful with what they say and acting together. And keeping Corey out of it.

Working on the assumption that my username will be sufficient to get me a warning I might as well have my say!
Great game, great advert for the sport, 2 teams going hard at it, lead changing hands a couple of times.
Clan could have been 5 up in the 1st, lots of missed opportunities.
Panthers then right back at us and Sumo was excellent in nets. We levelled it then your coach took a bit of a stupid penalty, although Kyle Bruce definitely did his best to sell it to the ref!
Laser sighted finish my McPherson for the GWG, not many goalies would have got it.
On Pulling Kwall, he got pulled, then there was a stoppage which took the puck back out to the neutral zone, most coaches in this instance will put their goalie back in until the regain the zone, looked normal to me.
Post game incident, didn't see it, but playing the puck after the whistle carries a penalty, and I'm sure that will be applied! I do not think for a 2nd it was intentional, however every player has to be responsible for what they do with their stick, had he fired in the opposite direction, at the Clan bench, I dread to think what might have happened!
The alleged spitting, didn't see it, any Panther fan I've ever met has been the same as me, a hockey fan who loves their team, but happily interacts with other fans!
Every team has their dafties attached to them, we have some as well, hopefully some of the "proper" Panther fans will name and shame the moron who has sullied the clubs image!
Wish I was going down there tonight for the return leg!
Hope its a good game!

Wow, no spelling mistakes and everything. If Corey's deliberately hit 2 kids from 200 yards, i want to know why he can't hit the back of the net from 10??? Seriously, hope the kids are OK, corey will call them, appologise, buy them both a Galbraith shirt and everyone can move on.

Any Braehead fan who comes to gloat will be given a rest from the forum. and your a mod?... As stated in the other post (panters 3-0 clan) you seem a totally different team home and away? and k-wall seems totally different too!, I dont understand it? I dont know the facts but has anyone beaten Nottingham at home this year? Id be surprised if they have! you need to work on your 'bus legs' and there is no doubt you will win that league you desperately want!

Personally I think some people are making a mountain out of a mole hill, the kids dad is a sensible guy and knows that he didnt go.. "hmm theres a kid, lets slap a puck at him"... get real it was unfortunate! Yes he shouldve have hit it at all but poo poo happens, end of!..... well..... We will boo him but thats whats hockey is all about

Simon Kirkham has had confirmation from Morray Hanson that the incident was an accident and NO action will be taken by the league.
