To add to the celebrations of the Panthers win in London (which was very happily received in the Olympic Rink, I can tellyou! ;D) the Lions went on to deliver a resounding 10-2 thumping to the visiting Kingston Jets. After a shaky first period, the Lions really stepped it up with a good all-round team performance, putting 6 past the lonely Jets goalie (seemingly abandoned by his blueliners) in the second period, effectively ending the game. The third period just added to the pain for the visitors, despite pulling back a consolation goal near the end. Nice to see a couple of Cage-ites there as well! Oh... and the U14s game beforehand was an even more emphatic victory for the home side.... the Nottingham Tigers obliterating the Solihull Flames 18-1! ;D ;D Another good day for Nottingham ice hockey!
