It is only a matter of talking money with GM regarding these two and they are about ready to put pen to paper. Heard last night.

getting Ryan, Bellamy & Lepine signed up ASAP would put a real statement out to the rest of the teams in the league that we're looking to continue with the form and teamwork we had towards the end of this season.

Any particular reason why insider? money? better job offers? doesnt like nottingham? not wanted by management?
First player to re sign behind the nettie in my book and a very firm fan favourite with pretty much the whole fan base as far as i could tell...

I'd be gutted if we don't get Lepine back but have heard from more than one person he's also getting chased by Coventry and Cardiff.

I'd be gutted if we don't get Lepine back but have heard from more than one person he's also getting chased by Coventry and Cardiff. Lepine told a friend, who spoke to him at the Elite League Awards dinner, that he was hoping for a call from an AHL outfit for next season. Don't know whether that is based purely on ambition, or the knowledge that he has been scouted? Either way, I wish him well if that's the route he takes - and who could blame him? Would love him to return to the Panthers of course, and I can't really see Cardiff, or particularly Coventry, being top of his list of places to play if he returns to our shores?

Would be delighted to see Bellamy return.
Not a big fan of Ryan, sure he goes on some spectacular rushes, but he is far too prone to put the team in trouble by turning over the puck in dangerous areas for my liking. However, his goal in the final last weekend was a thing of beauty! I suspect he will be offered a contract, as GM started a chant of "Sign him up..." on the balcony on Sunday evening when the fans had done it for other players but not for him.

Leps won't be returning next season Would that be Leps Bellamy or Leps Ryan that you're referring to on this thread about, er, Bellamy & Ryan?
