I can't really see Christiansen putting up with a continuation of the alleged off-ice antics of 'Party Boy', can you? If he did join the Giants, I can't see him lasting the season, either through weight gain from too much Guinness, or missing the team plane back from Heathrow on a regular basis! Apparently Jon Pelle to Giants is nailed on , I think Jade to Giants is not happening. HL Meh hope not, i know he scored a lot of points but was pretty inefective against the Giants as DC worked out hit him hard and he disappears. Jade no thanks too much baggage. The only rumour coming out of the giants are contract offers out to two current AHL players, and offers out to two players from last season. Deniset yes please. ;D

You telling me you wouldnt take Pelle in a Giants top Jester? The EIHL top scorer? I would have him in a heart beat, if we had a player like that this season I think we would of won the league. Pelle and Deniset would be nice

Simms on Stalintalk saying that a huge, huge signing is about to go down. He is telling his family to think outside of the box...

Apparently someones signing an enforcer and a very tough one at that. That would be awesome news, apart from the fact the league will cut his balls off on arrival. Let's hope he gets a bit of slack cause he doesn't play for Panthers.

I really would not say so. I would expect him to be around a point per game in the EIHL.

Judging by this he's got something of an issue with referees. Best of luck to him with Mr Carson. What is the current EIHL record suspension?

He received I think 1 Year IIHF ban. for the attack on the officials in Coventry. My opinion of this signing, Enforcers didn't work last season and now with a drop in import numbers and an alleged cap, I can't see many teams (if any at all) going for an out and out like this guy appears to be.

Didn't Cairns get a lifetime ban for punching Carson?

Didn't Cairns get a lifetime ban for punching Carson? That's my recollection, lifetime ban from the EIHL, but walked back into the NHL the next year!

I do agree with your general point about enforcers this year but I am pretty sure this bloke would score good points over here.

But for whatever they are paying him, would a player who would put up similar numbers, without the enforcing not be cheaper? his added value of enforcing may not justify the increase in salary that he would arguably demand. I suppose its all down to any sacrifice that Bruce will make if he signs him. If they will be no weaker at the back, and still as potent up front good signing. If they are weaker in either area then poor signing.
