Most important signing of the summer completed before the playoffs, excellent news!

Suprised he signed so early, but pleased non the less. Great news and a boost for the team going into the final weekend.
Not so sure it was Corey making the signing, in his comments, he isnt as involved, no mention on talking to other players/other resignings etc. In the NEP, they don't talk to Corey, this time they talk to GM about the signing. Surely if we had a coach signed, they would talk to him, like they have done for the last 3 seasons about new signings.
I think this was a GM move.

Excellent news, about time Panthers took the NM position seriously.
Shame my beloved Red Wings couldn't do the same.........

Great stuff, best goalie in the league. Now give him the defence he deserves.

Makes a change for us for our keeper to be the first import signed. That HAS to be the start of building any team. Build from the Back, Lepine, Meyers, Lee plus 2 fresh imports at the back then sign your bulk of the fowards.

have to wonder why this is announced before we have a Coach announcement though? I have a very strong suspicion that Mr Neilson will be at the helm again next season with Strachan. Getting his British passport, putting himself forward for the GB team, seems to be setting his stall out for an extended stay....

Always said we need consistency in this position
Even kwall himself struggled at the start of the season as he was getting used to the lack of defence at Panthers and the rinks
Now he knows what to expect he is immense for us
Dont think Corey is going anywhere now so I am hoping Strachan has loads more responsibility and can make the difference that allows us to win the League
K-wall signing was the most important of any we could make
If I had one wish now it would be that we let Galbraith go and replace with a quality player that performs week in week out to the best of his ability
I dont think Galbraith suits a team that wants to win a League

Isn't Lepine doing a Uni course? They usually last for two years don't they?

I add my name to the list of very happy Panthers supporters. It was great to see Kowalski grow into his role, and the fact that he posted some great numbers in a season marred by injury and an occasionally-AWOL D is tribute to his skill.
Looking forward to K-Wall trouncing Murphy and Mustukovs (flattered by better defending) in the standings next year!

Great signing! I am astonished he has signed so early, he obviously has enjoyed this season considering lack of D etc etc. Well done to all that made him possible to re-sign, he can only get better next season.
