Lea valley I believe and it's just off the M25 Lea Valley ice rink from what I remember from last year is probably a good 5 miles or so from the M25. I think it's junctions 25 or 26.

Erm... entirely possible I might be mixing the pre and post Amiens trips to London up. That sounds much better than can't count...

Seems a bit silly in the Racers doing this "experiment" a week before the Panthers are off to the Conti Cup! I'm sure it would have drawn a lot of Steelers down IF they hadn't messed up around and switched what should have been Today's game in London with the one just played on Friday night! I was hoping to have gone to this game, but I had no chance of making it on Friday night. I also think that the Steelers traditionally strong and extremely loud away support would have helped convince the Rink Management that Sunday afternoons were much better all round that Friday nights. Ah well, Roger's and the Racers loss there I reckon. Question is, why were they allowed to put these Sunday fixtures into the Schedules and advertise them to not only their own fans but to the many opposition fans who would have been able to make the original Sunday dates. Some changes are inevitable during a season, but at this rate it looks like most of the Racers home games will have to be re-scheduled. I feel sorry for Racers fans who bought their tickets thinking/hoping that they would get more Sunday games for the money. this isnt londons fault its the fault of Lee Valley who offered them the ice time and then changed it around!! If they could have games on the sunday i think they would....i am guessing this is an 'experiment' as such to prove to lee valley that they can sustain enough fans to compete with the skating sessions?? They had no choice in the matter. I personally feel sorry for roger black who is pumping his money into this club...as he said to me last weekend in belfast, "until they get their new rink this is what they have to put up with." Give the guy some credit Glynn!!

" Give the guy some credit Glynn!! He can't do that, It's not the steelers so it's totally against his morals to give him any credit.

In enfield if I remember correctly from my time working down there. Get off M25 at jtn 24 I think signed as the A10. Follow that down then left onto the A406(north Circular) It's round there soemwhere I think. *disclaimer* these directions are off top of my head and may well be wrong so i'd look in a map before heading off and not listen to me in case you get lost* Quite a bit further in than Enfield and the North Circular doesn't really help. M25, junction 25 (A10) - south through Enfield and Tottenham. After the Tottenham one-way system you'll pass South Tottenham BR station on your left hand side. At the next big junction (Stamford Hill) turn left (I think it's signposted Clapton). Follow that road for a couple of miles or so and turn left at the first roundabout (after Clapton BR station) onto Lea Bridge Road. The rink is about half a mile further on. I did post similar directions last season and someone helpfully added some road numbers. Perhaps the mods can track those down.

I've just noticed that your official website says that the game is being played at the London Arena. That won't do anything for the crowd!

Shows how much attention we pay to the official site - I'd not even noticed that! Think it's a bit late in the day to get them to alter it now in time for the game but you never know. Hopefully, anyone who is travelling will have got their information from elsewhere.
