Hi, I want to start playing ice hockey soon . I am 17 years old and I have played roller hockey for a year now. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions please put them here. It'd have to be in Nottingham, Sheffield is too far until I can drive Thanks

You have to be 18 for insurance purposes to join a rec team. Or you could find out about the Nottingham Junior teams but you would have to ask someone else about that and would depend on if you have done your skating grades/levels.

Do adult scrimmage, you only have to be 17 and its great fun for any standard, see the NIC website for the details and times etc.

Thanks guys, I'm going to the adult scrimmage next Monday after the Panthers Steelers match I can't skate that well yet but I suppose learning while playing is my best bet! Hockey stopping on ice skates is a lot different to roller skates!
