True, The Little Pea looks quality. Could be another Fergie masterstroke. Now if he would just get rid of Berbatov.

City can buy whoever they like. At the end of the day it will still be United and Chelsea battling for the title, with Arsenal, City, Spurs, etc vying for 3rd/4th...and Liverpoo hoping to scrape a UEFA Cup spot. I remember hearing a few people saying that when Abramovich first bought Chelsea, "it will still just be Man Utd and Arsenal fighting for the title". Was it there second season under Abrams ownership that they won the title?

The difference is Chelsea had a great manager who only brought in certain players, not every player. I think City are buying too many, they need a settled team and then just to bring in the right players to improve.

City are bringing in players to fill needs. Mancini is assembling the strongest 25 man roster and a strong XI.
Depending on what happens this month City could end up with the strongest squad in the Prem.

And it looks like Van Der Vaart could be joining him, with Gallas also on board they now have a very strong squad.

Fulham have made a very good start under Hughes, I'd imagine even better than any of there fans would admit to predicting before the season especially after losing Smalling. The injury to Zamora looked a bad one though, hopefully he's not out for too long as they will really miss him.

Just watched England v Montenegro.
Rooney is shot, why was he even picked?
Barry is in my opinion the most overrated player in England, he was less than useless.
Glen Johnson is out of his depth, even against Montenegro.
Capello's coaching is extremely similar to Neilson's.
The officials in tonight's game could get a job with the EIHL.

Adam Johnson has been a revelation for England. We need to use youth - after Euro 2012 I cant see a future for Gerrard, Lampard or Ferdinand

Spoken to a few journo's and can tell you that Rooney's people are briefing heavily about him wanting out. And they have quietly told journo's about his willingness to join City.
The guy has really lost it with Fergie. He's also aware he could buy his contract out for £10m or less.

Only 4 clubs can afford Rooney - Chelsea, Man City, Barcelona and Real Madrid. Fergie would be mad to sell to 2 of his main rivals and Rooney will be a waste in Spain. It's a no win situation.

I think Rooney would thrive in Spain personally. He'd bully their defences.

Until Man U's debt get sorted out - they're going to struggle to compete for p£ayers. They're buring £80m per year on the debt.
Other news -
Rijkaard and Henk ten Cate are possibles for Liverpool. Could even happen next week if Liverpool fail v Blackburn.

So he's gone from knowing he wants to leave to knowing he wants a 5 year contract in a few days? Ludicrous.

Mancini, Jose, Wenger and Ancelotti all said he would stay. They obviously knew what was going on.
He’ll be kissing the badge now.
It was all about the ££££ after all.
