Linky thing as requested:- www.panthers.co.uk/modules/News/SEFS/ID.1555/SEFE/ViewNewsItem.aspMore good news... Stevie Lee is a very good prospect for future stardom... still a ways to go yet, but it's all looking good. And having Danny Meyers there to help him along shouldn't be underestimated... another British D-man who happens to have worn the A and the C, and who (so I am told by some who should know) is more than just helpful with younger British players. A couple of import D-men (preferably stay-at-home types who also hit like freight trains) and the likes of Tom Norton as a 6th D-man... and our defence should hopefully be much improved.

now bring in some new names. Don't think we'll be seeing any of those for at least a month... not with many other leagues in Europe & N. America still going. But we'll be seeing new names for sure... with Cameron Mann retiring, Dominic D'Amour almost certainly not returning, and (from what I can gather) my guess is that there'll be at least 3 of Bergin, Richardson, Gascon, KSP and Henderson that we won't see back. And I'd be very surprised if Nick Toneys wants to come back either. For potential returnees, Sean McAslan has to be the big one left to bring back... after that - who knows? 6 new faces minimum is my guess.

So So Happy with this re-signing Stevie has the potential to be the best british D-man for years.
Its a good start to the summer having all 4 key brits back on the books and Jade as well bring back macca add the required new faces including a better goalie and a couple of stay at home D men and we're looking pretty good.

I never expected this much good news this early in the off season, really pleased with all the Brits signng, I rate all of them. Corey must be doing something right that the guys want to sign up again without prevaracation.
I don't understand the criticism of Danny, in the main last season I thought he played well, did what we needed him to do and we struggled in those few games that he missed.
None of the Brits were the reason we didn't win the league, I feared losing at least one of them either to the continent or elsewhere in the league. Get Mac signed and roll on next season!

Awesome news that Stevie is back , for me THE most important signing of the week.
Lee has the potential to be better than any other brit man, all this talk of clubs wanting O connor and phillips doing well, they are older than Lee, Stevie will be top dollar in 3-4 years time, its hard to believe hes only 19 when you see some of his plays and hes the only one ive seen who stands upto Sgroi, Mcsorrow and voth

Not sure what you're getting at there... we're not going to be settling for the same squad because there's one definite leaver (Mann) and several probables. Everybody seems to be expecting some changes... and the fact we came so close is both furstrating and encouraging... indicates that maybe we don't have to do a complete reboot, just change a few things. Exactly... although I wouldn't be too quick to write off Danny Meyers. After all... he used to get a lot of criticism for being too much of an offensive D-man and not concentrating enough on actually defending. And what did he do this last season? - turned himself into a stay-at-home D-man, by and large. They guy learned and changed... which is something that many people can't or won't do. I would like to see KSP and Henderson back. I wouldn't be gutted to see either of them back. Henderson started off pretty anonymously, but really started to spark near the end (kind of like Cameron Mann, only a bit too late)... and I do think that most of KSP's problems came down to the porous defence in front of him.

Good signing... we have had a good start to the season with these players been snapped up. I predict macca's announcement early next week. Heard from someone that knows Macca that he wants to come back and so does his wife. I can't see Neilson turning him down. Brill news and says more news on Monday.

Would like to see Macca, KSP, Hartley & Richardson back
Hopefully Matt Myers returns, if not then AN Other Brit to replace Daglish
Norton, Lacho, Bullas, Ward, Neil, and Soar also avialable to the club.
2 no-noncense stay at home D-men, enough of this offensive D idea, left us too exposed too many times last season.
1 top notch import centre (if Myers can centre the 2nd line), and another top notch import winger , plus 2-3 solid import fillers.
As much as i liked Bergy I thnk he is done now, and I wouldnt have Henderson, Gascon, or D'Amour back back.
