Lets not let the facts get in the way of a good story, Calder was the better points scorer.
Welcome back Sean, hope you live up to the hype, not a fan of shirt kissing and then leaving myself, but each to their own.

Good signing ... the comment by Neilson is confusing tho "Sean McAslan. What can you say about him, he destroyed the league in scoring and I think he’s only going to come back even better."
80pts ... thats not destroying when you look at Calder, Carlson, Beauregard, Tallari, Hurtubise, Chambers, Deniset, Shields, Huppe, Deschatelets!!!!!
Still ... good signing after the embarrassing one this morning

Pleased to see him back. Hopefully a replacement for Galbraith as
a) he is a better player IMHO b) he plays hard for the team and whilst he might look lazy at time, you can tell he really wants it as much as the fans
People say he didn't have the best season in Denmark but he should be in the top 10 scorers here next season and you can't ask much more than that.

It is a bit of a safe option but that is the Panthers way. Getting him back will please the majority of fans who like the familarity of seeing their favourites every week. Given the choice between him and a top end ECHL/AHLer with top stats, I'd rather have a new guy to be honest and take a risk but he will score goals.

Attacking sides win cups ... eg Belfast Defense wins playoffs too ... eg last 2 seasons of sheffield

nice to see we're back to "unfinished business" again with that press release the rumour has been around for a while i feel sorry for the person that go flamed for announcing it as a possibility after he was seen at playoffs. he is one of the signing i am happier about so far, i had mate note of him "spitting the dummy out" at times when he was here before i doubt this will change as it is just how he is however he had 2 good seasons with us, whilst he may not have performed as well in denmark hopefully his game improved from being around better players in general which should turn into a good season for us. welcome back mac

nice to see we're back to "unfinished business" again with that press release Ever see 'bouncebackability' on Soccer am? yeah i did but what relevance is it really to this? i just think using this phrase nearly everytime a new signing or press release is made is getting boring and embarrassing. The business finishes every April whether you've completed the job or not.
Good signing (and, along with Richardson and Myers, only the third properly good one in my view) but hopefully the precursor to more encouraging news. Big new faces next, please.

Should be interesting to see if comming from a higher level and then going back to the EIHL will make him better. Should get loads more time in game situations to fire of his shot one should think.

A money, lifestyle orientated 1.43 ppg game player against a money, lifestyle orientated 1.25ppg thats a definite improvement.

Frodo, are you referring to McAslan as money & lifestyle orientated? If so, explain

Welcome back Sean. A player I would sooner have on our team than playing against us. Having to replace Tess, Cook and Molin is a huge task, but I think this is part of the puzzle.
