If the EIHL stats engine is to be believed, Mark Hartley has a GAA of 2 without having conceded any goals. I know we conceded 2 in the game that he played in but he wasn't on the ice. Is that really how GAA stats are supposed to be compiled? After a bit of Googling it seems that's not how GAA stats are supposed to be compiled. Mark's GAA should be 0. Oh and his save % should be 100% not -100%

Also Andy Jaszczyk for Hull has Pld 1; GAA 0; SP 50% go figure

What I also find irritating is the fact that when your sort the NM stats by GAA on the EIHL stats bit all the netties that haven't played are top of the stats because they (obviously) haven't let a goal in

Guess the stats engine isn't handling split time on ice. Think the sum's meant to be: GAA = Goals Against / (Total TOI / 60) That's how I've always understood it anyway.

I think that's only part of the problem. In Mark's case the stats engine seems to be using the team's goals against for the game when calculating his GAA rather than Mark's goals against. It's anyone's guess if KSP also had those goals allocated to him when calculating his GAA. I've no idea how they managed to end up with a negative save percent and it's anyone's guess what's going on with Andy Jaszczyk's stats. It's shown up clearly with these two because they've only played in 1 game each but I reckon it brings the netminder stats calculations into question for the whole table.

it's anyone's guess what's going on with Andy Jaszczyk's stats. My guess: If you go on his personal player stats it says he's played 1 game, conceded 2 goals from 4 shots (giving the 50% save percecntage) Then if you count the two goals as his GA, and say he played every game (which I am aware he hasnt) it comes out as 2 GA in 11 games (I think thats how many Hull have played including cup etc). This would give a GAA of just under 0.2. Rounded to 0

I think it'll all become clear when you see the inner workings of the EIHL stats engine ...

Thats harsh on the poor monkey Yeah, very harsh Doughnut. Sharpy just needed to earn a few extra quid to replace his Micra.

I have dropped an email to the league about this error on Hartley's stats but we'll have to see if the stats guru can fit it in after swinging on his tyre !

The Official stats in Excell have Mark Hartley as 100% save and a GA of 0.
One game played of 4 minutes and one shot.
